The Emerald Isle Experience traces a single thread along Ireland's golf coast, from the heritage of Dublin to the dunes of the Causeway and on through Mayo, Clare and Kerry. Seven championship rounds: Portmarnock Old, Royal County Down (consistently ranked the top course in the world), Portstewart Strand, Royal Portrush Dunluce (host of The Open in 1951, 2019, 2025), Enniscrone, Lahinch Old, and the closing round at Ballybunion Old above the Atlantic. Six bases in one continuous sweep, east to Dublin, north to the Causeway, then down the west coast through Mayo, Clare and Kerry, designed so each move puts you within a short drive of the next morning's tee.

Day 2

  • Play Portmarnock Old, classic links on the peninsula north of Dublin.

  • Overnight: 5★ hotel in Dublin.

Day 3

  • Coastal drive north into County Down.

  • Overnight: 5★ hotel in Newcastle.

Day 4

  • Play Royal County Down, world top-three by every credible ranking.

  • Overnight: 5★ hotel in Newcastle.

Day 5

  • Drive along the Antrim Coast Road to the Causeway.

  • Overnight: 5★ on the Causeway Coast.

Day 6

  • Play Portstewart Strand.

  • Overnight: 5★ on the Causeway Coast.

Day 7

  • Play Royal Portrush Dunluce, host of The Open 1951, 2019, 2025.

  • Overnight: 5★ on the Causeway Coast.

Day 8

  • Cross-country drive to County Mayo.

  • Overnight: 4★ hotel in Mayo.

Day 9

  • Play Enniscrone, championship dunes on Sligo's Atlantic coast near the Mayo border.

  • Overnight: 4★ hotel in Mayo.

Day 10

  • Drive south along the Atlantic to Clare.

  • Overnight: 5★ lodge in Doonbeg.

Day 11

  • Play Lahinch Old, on the County Clare coast at the edge of the Burren.

  • Overnight: 5★ lodge in Doonbeg.

Day 12

  • Play Ballybunion Old, the closing round above the Atlantic.

  • Overnight: 4★ hotel in Ballybunion.

Day 13

  • Depart Shannon Airport.
